In 2019, the Kauaʻi SWCD, the NRCS, and Go Farm Kauaʻi are partnering together to create a demonstration site to showcase the multiple benefits and methods of planting vetiver grass (Chrysopogon zizanioides). Planting will begin in 2019 and plant material will be ready for sale in the forthcoming years.
